This Media Wiki has been set up to provide a clearing-house for the descendants of J. Howard Jenkins. It's a place for us to share information about our own lives and the lives of our ancestors. We also hope to use this Wiki to share files related to family history with one another.
Don't put your home address on this Wiki! The Internet is generally safe, but this Wiki is publicly accessible. Any information that could be used by someone desiring to harrass you should not be included: home address, phone number, your bank account number and PIN, things like that.

[edit] Naming articles
When creating an article about a person, please our use standard naming conventions. For women, use their maiden name. Use as full a form of each person's name as possible. When two people have the same name, use Roman numerals to distinguish them. If they didn't actually use the Roman numerals themselves as part of their name, put the Roman numerals in parentheses. For example, the article for J. Howard Jenkins has the title "John Howard Jenkins (I)", since he is the namesake of one of his grandsons. If the person did use the Roman numerals themselves (such as Thurston Howell III), the parentheses aren't necessary.
Please use the first few paragraphs to provide a summary of the person's life. More details can follow in subsequent sections.
